Everyone to their own taste, I suppose. But I seriously can't understand the animosity towards Amanda Holden.

OK, maybe her marriage to Les Dennis raised her profile. She's hardly the first woman to have a marriage of convenience (Mariah Carey/Mottola?). But she did stay with him for a long time. And many marriages DO fall apart, don't they?

She no longer needs to find fame or raise her profile. She's already an established actress in her own right. I'm not a particular fan of hers, but I do think she seems pleasant & down-to-earth and is a strikingly attractive confident woman (dodgy Botox aside

).

Why do people have such a downer on her.......

I was voting for Stavros all the way until Susan came on and made me think that she was more talented, then Diversity came on and blew everyone away. I was crying laughing watching Stavros but the talent of the other acts was outstanding.

I only watched the final. Were they meant to be a joke act because they certainly can't do Irish dancing? They had a line of girls doing the real Irish dancing behind them.
