Definitely not as excited this year as I was last year. I used to love the buzz on the forums but guess the lack of LF has stopped all that. 
I agree there just nothing to talk about.

Yup...I changed channels have way through the launch...not seen a HL show yet....have just been reading bits posted by the FM foobar. Can't seem to muster any enthusiasm at all. 
I'll watch for a little longer in the hope it'll get better but I have to agree. C4s obvious disinterest seems to have infected the show itself.

its already off air in our house and wont return until the lf does.

I can't believe how much slower the fm is as well. I was a new poster last year and I just couldn't keep up, by the time I had posted on anything the thread was on page 5. Lack of live feed I suppose.
I'm usually a really optimistic person, willing to give things a chance, but as far as I'm concerned it's off air already. What Ch4 has done is a great shame and a proper kick in the teeth for all us BB fans.
There is something just not quite right about it this year - and it's not just to do with the lack of LF.

I'm not bored with the show I just really miss the LF. Not even necessarily just watching it, but also discussing what's going on and what we think about it.

they've spoiled it cutting lf and thier making up silly excuses for getting rid of it

It just all seems too forced....not like in past series - even last year most of them seemed relatively "normal" for want of a better word.
It's early days I suppose

Apparently the HM's have been told not to swear...can't remember where I read it probs here or DS...anyways if they aren't even allowed to swear it doesn't exactly encourage free speech or fun in there does it?!
Even if they aren't actors it seems BB has given them very strict guidelines on their behavior ....meaning we won't see any 'real' element of the HM's personalities at all....not without BB prior approval anyway.

That could be true Pixie - maybe that's why it all seems a bit stilted - they are having to watch their behaviour.

Cant get into it, and by the time live feed comes on at midnight, im too tired to watch so i guess im not gonna enjoy it at all this year......

yeah they were a bit slow with a sound dip and I heard one of them (cant remember who) saying something like,we were warned and lectured about swearing too much,
or words to that effect just before they cut and went to a break,
this will be the most contrived and controlled BB ever, and THIS is the real reason for no live feed

That's what I meant when I said I thought it seemed contrived - I hear some of them talking and think they are not really meaning what they are saying.

I think censorship is at the heart of the lack of LF too. Makes me wonder who's got the thumb screws out?

The BB house was infiltrated by SBS forces yesterday morning who made took the HMs through an exercise routine. That's probably what the girl was referring to there. But I d agree with your previous comment which is that THEY want total control over the show. They probably already have their winner now too and will edit the HL show as a means to their end...
By the way, where's the 'Old's COOL' from your sig? I loved that!
I'd put it down to the fact that with the exception of last year, I often struggle to watch the first few weeks of BB (to many loud ego's fighting to be the maddest, the zaniest etc).
But reading what you lot have written... tis interesting.
Someone, a newspaper or something, needs to throw a dirty great wedge at one of the unlucky rejects that leave on Sunday... and get them to spill the beans!
