They both had decent productions.
There's a glaring hole in the market

I loved The Spice Girls ....................never took to All Saints ........thought they were a bunch of scabby old tarts.
Viva Forever! (That's one of my funeral songs)

this is no time to promote your glaring hole
It's the best offer you'll get tonight.

cheeky
All Saints had a couple of very good songs. The Spice Girls didn't and basically couldn't sing.
Neither.
i rather liked all saints in my younger days , has to be said, they certainly had more cred than the spicies.
but then they went an did under the bridge, which was a bad bad thing, but then also one of them used to write a lot of their stuff, which i don't think spicies ever did.
In retrospect I think I preferred the Spice Girls (fun fun fun). It's all about the Saturdays now though....my 3 year old girls are mad for them!
never liked either of them
Spice Girls by a country mile. All Saints always seemed arrogant and full of themselves ; like they thought they were sooooo amazing. And yet, after their first album, it took them FOUR years to the second one! And then SIX years to the third! And the one girl: Shaznay was butt ugly but really loved herself. They did a few OK tunes, but I did not like them at all... Spicey's all the way! Wish Geri hadnt left though, because they went downhill after that.
All a load of bollox.

Don't hold back there! Agree about All Saints being up themselves though. Used to bump in to them on the pretentious London scene in the 90s and they tried to appear all cutting edge, when their music was pure Pop. At least the Spice Girls didn't pretend to be anything other than unashamed fun sing-along Pop.
