That's a bit different than the chalky white horse from Wiltshire or the Long Man at Wilmington
I like the look of Grinton. Might move there!

I could see you on this, working your way through the countryside.
Quite a lot of this reminds me of around the Jevington, Wilmington, Folkington area.....and the views along the Polegate to Lewes road are very similar.

We are blessed with some lovely countryside in the UK Cosi.

Wasn't me, guv - haven't been to Yorkshire in years. Can't even remember the last time I went on a bus
- I need a comfort break and to get a drink of something cold - BRB.
Now it looks unmistakably Yorkshire but I'm not sure why!
Goodness! That bus has just overtaken a car going SLOWER than it!!!
Has it picked up the pace a bit?

Yeah, but only because the car's fan belt had slipped and the clutch was on it's last legs.

I'm pretty sure they slow the film down, Fluffy....and then go to real time sporadically.
velvet donkey posted:York, Harrogate, Knaresborough and Ripon I remember. No shortage of racecourses in Yorkshire. Took some scenic road from Harrogate to Lytham once cross country.
Sounds really nice, Velvet. I wouldn't mind doing the route this bus is taking but in my own car; be good to stop off at some of the pretty villages and have a nosey around too.

Flat caps, whippets and Yorkshire Pud stations?

I thought that and then noticed a bird fly by quite quickly. But they still may do.

I bet he got new shades especially for the filming.
You'd think they'd have a sing-song to pass the time, eh?

Yep.
And the pen is one of EC's self protection devices.
Is it one of them spy-cam pens do you think, or something much more sinister?

I watched the beginning and have taped the rest! There isn't enough room in Grinton for you all by the way.
Meanwhile those of us watching t'street on catch up have just seen their tribute to Brian Rix.
