I was always a bit uneasy about the Tyson thing, but in his defence I would say that he still protests his innocence in the Diedre washington case, but feels that as he had got away with a lot of bad behaviour to women over the years, he had it coming (prison). He is a very complex character, is diagnosed as bi-polar and is certainly not the ideal man for anyone, but is not quite the monster he is portrayed as (something he himself has colluded in!)
