What's the most scariest horror movie you have ever seen

The Nightmare On Elm Street movies were always pretty scary to me because Freddy Kruger could enter your dreams but also Stephen Kings 'It'
was scary because I generally hate clowns.

I don't normally get scared watching films but The Haunting [1963] definitely had an affect on me

I tend not to be scared by horror films, but the one film that still creeps me out is The Exorcist.

dunno about scary but there are a few movies that overdo the gore a little bit.

The Exorcist, l saw it when it first came out at the Cinema. Saw it a couple of times again, to fill in the gaps from when l covered my eyes. Now l can't watch it, can't even listen to the music, scares me stupid.

It really scared me the first time I saw it and it still makes me jump now. Clowns are evil.

The more recent(ish) films that preyed on my mind when I was trying to get to sleep would be the Japanese ones like The Grudge and the Ring - even the remakes are scary
