After all my ranting to the contrary... And yet.
hahaha....  I now how that feels...     I am the same about Sam...  he is weedling his way into my good books...

but I quite like it when a housemate I dislike makes me come round to quite liking them... thats the good feeling.

tis better than a housemate you like disappointing you and you go off them...  thats the bad feeling!

I'd be very interested to hear another viewpoint of the infamous lockdown "You shouldn't have bothered" comment to the woman who was an amputee.  The way he treated Steve during the gunking noms told a very different story...

If I didn't know about that I'd love Sam.  As it is, I find myself liking him a lot and feeling very conflicted about it.

Lecs what it didn't show in the HL's was Sam was the only HM to help Steve get safely off that plasic runner that was covered in gunge, all the others just walked off,he stayed and helped him.
Yes I know, that's what I mean (sorry I can't really type well tonight)...Sam it seems was caring and helpful toward Steve in a very non patronising way...which suggest that's he's cool with disability...

I wondered if he did make that remark to the woman but the context was very different (as in it had nothing to do with her being disabled)

TBH Lec's all along I've had reservations about that alleged comment, context could play and part and would BB really put someone who was so  discriminate to a disabled person in the house...Odd the girl herself has not spoken up ,I would have.

Lecs - like you have said, there is absolutely NO proof (unless you count liar farmer giles' word for it - or I have missed something) that Sam said those words.   Dont you think the lady in question would have been to the rags by now, raking it in??   As has been pointed out-  and it wasnt shown in the h/l show - Sam ASKED BB if he could do the bucket thing for Steve because it was too dangerous/slippy for Steve to do it.  And has been pointed out above - Sam was the one to help Steve after the task - the rest didnt give a sh!t.
I am liking Sam a LOT - he's the kick up the arse the show needed - and if he wins, so be it - a right kick in the teeth to the likes of crab-eyes/farmer giles who think they've got it sewn up - and Mario can go f*ck himself now as far as I'm concerned - he's 3rd in line in the desperation list

I knew the rest but I didn't know that bit...Sam asked if he could so something to get Dave a letter from home too (and succeeded)...which is suggesting he's quite thoughtful.

Oh I dunno, Sam Pepper don't make me love you!

I can tell you Lecs - from watching it on l/f yesterday, when it came to Steves turn, Sam shouted out to BB can he do the tipping thing for Steve because it was too dangerous for Steve to do it - no-one else gave a toss
He also shouted and asked could he get Steve a chair cos it was too dangerous for him and helped him sit down..

Actually Barmybrummie, this is a thread started by someone that does NOT LIKE Sam, so I think I will stay thank you.  Why don't YOU leave?  This is an anti-sam thread, (supposed to be!) and yet people are cooing over how amazing he is.  Anyway, I don't think you have the jurisdiction to tell me to leave.  I will leave when I want to.  As it is an anti-Sam thread, I shall slate him til *I* am ready to stop.

Dave: Who'd have thought the mole would have put me up...his friend.
Sam: Who'd have thought you'd go on about it so much.

Dave: The mole gave me several nice massages to soften me up for the knife. He shivered me timbers. Imagine the mole putting me up?
Sam: I can see why he put you up now.

Dave: Who would have thought the Mole would have put me up when he's my friend.
Sam: Who would have thought you'd go on about it so much if he's your friend!

Dave "I knew you were going to be in'year when I first saw you."
Sam: "When I first saw you I thought you were just some random drunk."
