Yep ..........there was a whole gang - the Acourt brothers always appeared to me to be particularly horrid ............hopefully their day will come.
Those Acourt brothers need sorting too - as does Luke Knight. I'm sure their day will come. 
Surprisingly, and loathe as I'm to say it, the Daily Mail did a hell of a good job by naming all 5 of them as murderers and daring them to sue.
It's high time someone was held accountable for his murder!
I really didn't think that they would be found guilty ... I thought there was no way that they could prove it beyond reasonable doubt. They must be 100% sure, and it is indeed a good day for justice

I don't think the Mail will stop until the remaining 3 are brought to justice, although I believe there were 9 in the gang altogether, all murderers.

Not nearly long enough sentences IMO.
They got the max as juveniles Soozy,they were under 18 when they killed him.Over 18 and they would have got 30+.
What evil scum they all are.
i think most people think the same, soozy - even the judge said he wasn't going to be as harsh as he thought most would expect. Don't understand that at all. At least those are minimum terms. 18 yrs might have been a good figure
The images of those boys leaving court all those years ago, arrogant and full of hate.......the pictures are still vivid in my mind.
I hope this conviction gives Doreen Lawrence some small comfort. The rest of the gang are still free, though.
I echo what you have all said up there^^^^^, and well done The Daily Mail for getting the ball rolling. I wonder if the Knight yob was a relation of Barbara (I never knew he was gangster) Windsor and her husband Ronnie Knight.I hope that in the not too distance future that the others are caught and tried, and convicted, then Mr and Mrs Lawrence can then hopefully have some peace.

They got life sentences Soozy, those are just the minimum they will have to serve.
