ADVICE WANTED ON ANNIVERSARY GIFT PLEASE

It's our 30th wedding anniversary on Monday, and I've been trying to think of a nice pressie I can buy for Mr G. It was much easier when it was our 25th and I could buy him silver things, but this is our pearl anniversary and I can't think of anything pearl-related! Mr G isn't exactly a romantic, would never wear any type of jewellery, doesn't use any man cosmetics, and even though he has terrible dress sense, he is very fussy about the clothes he wears and hates anything I buy him. He loves horseracing, Hawkwind, and Van der Graaf Generator.

I would be really grateful for any suggestions, preferably not too smutty

Pressie ideas, how about a red letter day? There's loads of different stuff he could do - has he ever had a dream to go rally racing or anything like that? Or a golfing day? (If he's into golf) - or a VIP ticket to a racing day or Ascot or summat? x

Let him give you a pearl necklace, then present him with a bar of pearl soap so he can wash it off for you after in a hot soapy shower.

I think you've all come up with the perfect solution now! I will knit him a pearly king suit, which would look very fetching, especially with voluminous Y fronts underneath, and we can go out for nice romantic dinner of sprouts and jellied eels.
