Hmmmm! That's interesting. I find them inoffensive but my darling wife shouts obscenities at the tellybox, even accusing them of using people of restricted growth to make the furniture seem larger.

They did actually(DFS) get pulled up for that, not sure if it was camera tricks or they built extra large furniture for the ads,but they fell foul of "Trade Descriptions" etc. Nod

Really? I never knew that, but wouldn't put it past advertisers. Mad

I know - youth, belief, optimism, hope, nativity etc at its best, lovely ad! Thumbs Up

First time I saw it I thought it was a trailer for a film.

It's really well filmed, it's lovely Nod

It is lovely - especially when they ask the man (forgot his name) 'what's for breakfast? - Mackrel' he answers. Thumbs Up

Poo at Paul's is a dead cert for hatred in the ad dept ella! Big Grin Who the heck likes this ad? Family and friends of the actors? Confused

Envirophone is so annoying too! I wouldn't send my phone to them any more than I'd send any gold to the said ads! Eeker Shake Head

It must be my age of 51 - but after having had three kids who have just left home (except nmiddle one/daughter) I don't want grandchildren etc, I want a life - am I so selfish? I had no one to look after my three and I was a registered child minder for seven years/lecturer etc , I want a child free zone for a few years.

Think I am the ONLY person EVER to remember an ad from years and years ago, that was on only at Christmastime; It was a snowglobe with a little snowman inside. He had a very sad face, till he drank a can of beer (think it was heineken or carlsberg, or something,) and then once he had drunk it, he turned into a happy snowman with a smiley face.It was so cute Big Grin None of my friends remember it. Do any of you lot?

Yes, it was one of the Heinekan ones - refreshes the parts other beers cannot reach. Like that Wata in Majorca one.

ooh, thank gawd for that. Was beginning to think Id made it up myself! Laugh Thought it was heineken. They should be allowed to bring it back Big Grin

Yep, go compare pisses me off, and also the oreo one, (why do you have to LICK it?!!!)

And if I see another CASH for gold ad I am gonna kill something Mad

I get annoyed by the meercat one too, even though everyone seems to love it.

The poo at pauls' one

That stupid woman on the kitkat advert who pulls pranks on her hubby, letches over 'fit' men and buries family dvds in the garden.(Though to be fair that is the 'sponsored by kitkat' ad that is on during loose women.')

The HAPPY PERIOD ones As if!!!

But there has been a serious lack of LOAN ads this past year hasn't there, probably coz they know no-one can or will pay it back! The darned things advertising gold have replaced these gems. Laugh

I LOVE the virgin on me too, and yes I do remember that one with the snowglobe LSM. Smiler

I know there are more. Smiler

Bit confused. How would having grandchildren stop you from having a life? Having your OWN children doesn't stop you having a life, so how or why would having grandchildren stop you from 'having a life?' Confused They wouldn't be yours, or your responsibility. Must admit that I found that statement hard to understand.
