I have been doing something unthinkable this morning!

SEWING!!! - I am rubbish at  needle work but the new curtains I bought are just a bit too short - there is no leeway on the rail positioning so I've had to let them down - just about to press them - hope they look alright. Off to choose/collect tiles shortly while dinner is cooking then at 5.15 dinner for the family! I was gonna try and find time to paint my new doors too but that may be pushing it.

Oh and hi to 'the family' - not really liking Adams closeness to Lydia then again maybe he's thinking 'keep your friends close and your enemies closer' - I don't think he's daft.

Ewwwwwwww - was looking for a finger clicking smilie and came across this

i have a phobia of sharp knives - I hack through bread and meat with blunt bits of metal despite having a full set of 'proper' knives in a cupboard because I'm scared of them - I'm so clumsy

Me too -I use my ancient bread knife and tiny vegetable knife for everything. Mr Woo shows off with his big sharp knives that are honed and sharpened like razor blades. It scares me even washing them up.

What is all that about with men and blades? Whenever my one chops or carves he has a good go on the sharpening stone and then cuts the air like some Samurai warlord. He did it earlier today with the roast lamb. He always looks really pleased with himself as well.

Yep - my ex was exactly the same...  blades and BBQs and power tools.  I think it makes them feel all manly

Day 13: A handsome pair

Shievonne's success in the timebomb task won her a date. Who did she choose to share it with but Adam, whose failure in the timebomb task had incurred a creative penalty. The man was forced to wear gigantic paper mache hands. We love that Shievonne chose Adam as her date for this specific reason. Girlfriend loves a challenge

The pair entered the secret room which had been given a full romantic make-over. Heart-shaped red balloons and red roses adorned a table set for two. Poor Adam was helpless to feed himself but Shievonne graciously took on the role of feeder, forking starter, main and dessert into Adam's mouth, while he opened wide like a baby bird.

Tricolore salad, kebabs and cheesecake were the menu Big Brother had laid on and the lovebirds passed their hour by pretending that Adam's handicap was a physical reality.

"With hands that size you're hardly inconspicuous," said Shievonne, pretending that she and Adam were a real-life thang. "I could probably find out if you were cheating."

"It's a good thing," said Adam.

"I'll have to get you some gloves," said Shievonne, frowning, "you've got a bit too much flesh on show."

Jokes then got a little raunchier; "what's it like to be that big?" purred Shievonne.

"I've been dealing with this for 27 years," said Adam. Who da man?

why do housemates make it so difficult for me?   I'm already struggling with his straight hair and overly cheesy grin.

I haven't watched yet.  BUT I'm going to guess, seeing as channel 5 is owned by the man that owns that Daily Star, the water fight gave more gratuitous wet t-shirt shots.  Just saying.
