Similar to the UK where it was illegal to be gay, not so long ago.

Oscar Wilde was imprisoned for being a homosexual, with two years hard labour in Reading Jail, circa 1895. That was in Queen Victoria's time. And it wasn't that long ago that Quentin Crisp got into trouble for being homosexual. He eventually went to live in America, and I think he may have died there. The whole landscape regarding homosexuality has changed in the past 20-30 years. And about time too.

Its a bit early yet but I think her heart is in the right place.

I think I'm with you there. She's not getting much air time but she seems harmless enough TBH.

Only time (or preferably LF) can tell us more.

On her first night she had a chat with siavash when she declared herself to "be representing pakistan"....and now today Lisa is " representing lesbians.."

Sweeping generalisations are hollow...I'd rather she was representing herself than being a flag waver for a whole nation.

And Lil Kenny is representing spoilt, over-indulged, flash, big headed, disrespectful wankers.
