I stuck an ice pop down the back of my neck, unfortunately as it melted it became apparent that there was a hole in the wrapper and I ended up with a sticky neck and back, not to mention the lovely colour it has dyed my back and pj top. Ahh but just that coolness was worth it

OH I LOVE IT, I love the summer me, I am sat sut here with my windows wide open, and I look like a monk...so I have just been told anyway,
cause I am sitting here with a wet towel over my baldie head its soooooo coool, I recomend it, get a towel soak it in cold water, give it a good wringing out, wear over head, when it dries out (and it WILL) repeat process,

NOOO HATE Autumn, cause I know the dreaded WINTER is not far away,....and summer is over, the long hot sunny days riding the bike down the country lanes enjoying the warm breeze in ya face and the smells of the countryside in high summer, are over for another year, and its back to being dark and wet and cold and icy....and well...basically SHITE for another 6 months,

DOUBLE BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!! It's the best season bar none. The gorgeous colours, clear crisp weather, the gorgeous smells, comforting food, better telly. Summer's full of flies, sleepless nights, crappy salads, sweaty armpits and people who have no business wearing skimpy outfits in public. I say BOOOOOO!!! to summer.

i do the wet towel thing with my cats - give them a good rub down and they love it

I have flung the patio doors open and there is a lovely cool breeze coming in!!! Bliss!!! But I know it can't last and I think heavy downpours with storms are predicted for later (North Devon) but I am enjoying it while it lasts. We are promised cooler and fresher for tomorrow, I do hope so. Howabout where you are? What's the forecast for the next few days?

I love the changing seasons and I'd hate to live anywhere that didn't really have them, like LA.
I love this heat, it's nearly as hot as back home, so i love it.

It saps my energy but i find I can adapt to temperatures up to the low 30's after a week or so. At night I have a fan pointed at my bed and sleep under a single sheet and have'nt had problems sleeping so far. Not to worry heat haters, the next few days are forcast to be a relatively cool 25c! (In the south east)
