Blimey, I reckon if I missed paying council tax for a year then I'd be before the courts and the bailiffs would be around.

It seems that all her bills were paid by direct debit.

Surely the utility companies must want to read the meters. Unless they were outside. Frowner

a few people wondered but thought she has just moved or gone into a nursing home, all her financial affairs were done by direct debit and the flats she lived in were popular with students so there was a lot of people coming and going

such a sad story
How did they not smell the body for days? and she had no friends or relatives? wow such sad news...

I can't remember the last time I saw or heard a milk float...[/QUOTE]

He uses a pickup truck. If he used an electric milkfloat the batteries would run out halway through his round. He has a large mileage to cover between customers.

This was not far from where i live, its seems impossible that this could happen and i hope there is an enquiry. Surely her doctor would know she wasnt around, or something. The girls at the hairdressers she always walked past said they hadnt seen her but didnt want to go to her door to see if she was ok , which me mad. A photo in the local paper hasnt brought any family forward, its a real shame
