I will just say this though ....I think the fact ( which has been raised) that there are no BB discussion threads on the general forum any more is basically down to the fact that people used to like to discuss stuff as it happened , rather than the next day .

I actually take umbrage to this Kaffs, I never for one moment suggested (or meant to suggest) that ANYBODY 'Piss Off', I purely meant that because this is a Big Brother forum we may at times hear snippets of 'News' about Big Brother before it is shown on the 'highlights'. and if it meant so much to me 'I' would avoid entering the forum until 'I' had seen the 'Highlights'.

Can we just not make a thread about CBB, if we wish to do so,  with a starting title of CBB Spoiler, then others can read and chat away with the content of said thread then?? Others who may not wish to read, then can make their own decision whether or not to do so ?

This makes sense to me, skylark -  Mrs H's thread already has upcoming news and is labelled spoiler - so I never read it until after the HL show .     I don't see any harm in 'news' going in there (or a different thread if you don't want it lost in all the articles etc') and anyone who wanted to discuss something specific the day after when everyone's seen the show could start a thread - and maybe it would be more like the old days with people talking about what they'd seen and what they thought of it.

What did people used to do when we were on C4 Forums? There were always a zillion threads about the current days action  intermingled with threads about stuff shown on the HL show too...  it isn't so hard to just be careful not to give too much away in the title, as used to happen on here when there was more discussion going on. . it's a different BB scenario with no LF now but, the Jeremy chuck out was hinted at and dealt with on here via a thread in the main topics section without a spoiler. .one other thread, one tiny mistake and everyone has gone bonkers..

As for leaving it to the mods to decide, the fact this thread was started by a Mod and then stickied is hardly an example of Mods making good choices for us. . I didn't choose the Mods and certainly don't want them making choices for me..  obviously am not including Lori in that as she is part of the lot that allowed us this place in the first instance and can make any rule she wants.. 

having said all that, over the last few BBs civilian and CBBs the discussion in main topics has reduced radically to the point of hardly any for a CBB  [3 I think] and not much more for a BB except maybe a few threads posted in the main topics with the updated daily stuff from C5 website which always contained C5's video or info title, so potentially a give away of sorts too ... then we have 2 threads are stickied, one for updates, that  used to be the norm for LF and kinda replaces it, and one for a HL show  discussion as it is aired. . Not everyone wants to chat live as the HL's are shown.. it's all got a bit bonkers   . .

I still reserve the right to growl a lot if I'm in a thread unconnected to something that someone then posts a spoiler in regarding the unrelated something  . .if that makes sense

I agree with poll too, but the time its debated and worded CBB will be over ! Took Scotland 2 years to get one sentence sorted, i have no hope here

As someone who had done updates on the forum we always had two stickies ...one for the HL thread and another (MrsH thread ) for all other BB info including spoilers.

If it was breaking news for the main board ,noms ,evictions. ejections ,new Hms we put (spoiler) in the title .Pengy made an error... one I have made on many occasions!!! but the mods usually PM me and make me aware that I need to change the title or they do it for me and explain in a PM why. EFFT has also made a mistake by making this public imo.

This is a BB forum  maybe the name of the forum should be changed, if all current BB info is off limits until the Hl show has aired then the forum will be redundant for BB fans most of the day....just a thought

It hasn't been a BB forum for many months, the title BB Forum is more of a nod to where it started , rather than were it's ended up.

The stuff about Ken getting kicked out was all over the news and social media way before the HLs aired and I think that almost everyone was aware of it...and tbh I don't think there has been anything more recent that was interesting enough to be classed as a *spoiler*

I will leave this thread, but i do want to say, Fluffs, you maybe could have handled this a wee bit better. a quiet PM would have sorted it. Making a thread, with rather patronising comments, were, in my opinion not needed. Yes say about spoilers, but the further comment wasnt necessary . Its not like the forum is flooded with people making comments about CBB. I feel you have embarrassed Pengy publicly, and i dont find that very pleasant. My opinion, thanks

Some people, sadly, are still going on as if this thread was aimed at Pengy and ignoring all those that posted spoilers in the highlights thread, which is actually what I saw first. As far as I was aware we (forum members) had an unwritten agreement that spoilers wouldn't be posted in the Highlights thread or as thread titles.
