Thanks Fluffers.   I know it's not done to purposely spoil the show it's just that people don't think, but it is a bit disappointing when there's spoilers so I don't think a reminder goes amiss. 

It's not a strict rule, it's about a bit of courtesy to those who would rather wait until a show has been screened.  Fortunately, when a spoiler does get posted, it's not done with malice - it's just human oversight 

I agree about not posting winners , evictees etc. but this particular * spoiler* was all over FB , Twitter and even made the main news, so I'm not sure it really counts

I'm a bit confused as to what constitutes a "spoiler" these days. In the days of LF, we had threads titles detailing everything that was going on, as it happened.

Are we no longer allowed to post threads on anything BB related, without Spoiler tags, until it has been shown on the HL's thread? 

Hi Yogi - as Cosi said, it's just a courtesy for those of us who don't do social media and like to get their BB fix in the HL show.     Of course everyone can post about BB - if I see a thread title that lets me know it's about the outcome of the shopping task, or nomination reveals etc I can chose to read it or not, but I think someone getting kicked out is a big thing - surely it's not too difficult to put 'spoiler' in the title - the forum's supposed to be for everyone's enjoyment surely?

I know that some people don't like to know what's happened until it's been aired, but this is a BB forum and it seems odd to me that people can't discuss what's happening in the house unless it's in Spoiler headed threads. 

Then again, I'm a nosey mare and need to know what's happening NOW, so I love spoilers. I guess we are all different.

yep... and funnily enough - I don't mind soap spoilers... (just not BB or Strictly)   that said, looking at the forum there's really no BB chat there - all the news and discussions in Mrs H's thread (I read that after I've watched the show and always stay a page or so behind... i know I'm a bit weird...)

I don't think there's any need - there's been oNE post outside Mrs H's thread which is very clearly signposted as gossip and spoilers and until now nobody's posted anything new anywhere else... 

I'm sure we can be considerate of each other without rules....

Well there was no need for this thread then , was there Trouble is it seems that one persons gossip is another persons spoiler .

I don't understand?   It was a reminder that some people don't like to know what's coming ... a reminder, that's all.    Gossip/spoiler to me is news of what's happened that's not been shown on the show... but what do I know - I probably haven't put in nearly enough hours.

I just think it needs more claryfying Kaffy ....you yourself said you don't mind * spoilers* about soaps ....so at the very least we need to be told which shows we are allowed to post * pre programne* stuff about See for me it simply covers evictions ,and  results ....but I'm obviously out of synch with others .....

well.. if it needs clarifying so be it - I don't think it does because normally people posting soap spoilers would say so - I'd read them.   I don't read the strictly spoiler - which has spoiler in the thread title.  it's not about being allowed - it's about common courtesy and giving the heads up.

For example - I'd hate to look in a forum and see 'So **** is the Broadchurch killer' or similar as a thread title.   Just common sense to me but maybe not to others.
