I heard the other day Cheryl Cole wears hair extensions, yet she gets paid to advertise hair shampoo by Loreal, do you wash hair extensions and are they real hair, I thought the whole idea of advertising shampoo was to show how good said product is on real hair. Id Cheryl is advertising a product for real hair and she wears extensions is she liying to ya all? Does that make sense?

I have never worn hair extensions, but they can be made from real hair or fake hair - bit like wigs.
On the advert, it says her hair was styled using natural extensions - same as the hair stuff Davina McCall advertises - so I assume they are real hair.
Even though the adverts say (now, they didn't used to) that they use extensions, I still think it's a bit false to advertise a hair product of any kind using extensions because you won't get the same results. Of course, we would never get the same results anyway without the team of hair stylists.

The rules have tightened up they have to state if there enhancement with the products,like for mascara they now state (in small print) filmed using lash inserts etc.
