For some time the BBC has been experimenting with 360 degree media. They posted a 3 minute clip of a penguin colony on Youtube.

On a computer you can either move the camera angle by clicking on the direction arrows in the top left hand corrner or when your pointer is over the screen hold down the left button and move the pointer around.

Baz, you may have to get an app to be able to do this on an ipad. There's a couple of possibilities here:

There's one for the BBC which is free and was released for the Olympics and one which you have to pay for.
I don't have an ipad so don't know if these will work or not.

Have you tried the clip on the Youtube site rather than on the clip here in case that makes a difference? On a PC there shouldn't be a problem unless you are using an old browser.
