Not gonna bore with my bathroom saga as it goes on and on and on but .....................I need to do a little bit of cosmetic disguising (my bath has come with pre drilled holes on the side) - not what I ordered but to cut a long story short I'm keeping it rather than wait 6 weeks for the one I ordered.

Now I have a lovely french style ceramic soap dish that sits very nicely on the ledge and hides one of the holes. It's not long enough to cover the two. Mr Woo said to just get another one to sit beside it - I'd rather have something pretty that fits (25cmx8cm).

This is the one I've got http://www.therange.co.uk/fren...ge/fcp-product/71939  but .................if anyone has any bright ideas I'm very 'open minded'

Cheers ga ga buddies - over to you.

I agree with all Cinds has said Soozy. It's a disgrace you where sent the wrong one in the first place but to have to wait 6 weeks for another is an absolute disgrace

Its terrible how they are messing you about and I would definitely go after some form of compensation or a reduction in costs

Too late Cinds - we had a day out at Flamingoland with the boys yesterday - I was waiting for the bath people to call and they just didn't. I got my daughter to ring them and they said they would give me ÂĢ50 off or 6 weeks wait for another one

I was freezing cold, wet and miserable (water chute rides in the rain) - all I wanted was to get home and warm up - I finally broke - knowing there was a plumber at home  I rang him and told him to get on with it.

Impatience is my middle name The bath was fandabbydozy

moonie - I will be going for them all guns blazing once I have everything that I ordered. I'm still waiting for the 'knobs' for my shower - they won't be here until NEXT THURSDAY!!! - I told the guy that I admired his honesty (at last) - it is all really beyond ridiculous considering I ordered the stuff three weeks ago and it should have been sewn up in two orders - one five days later and the next one seven

Never mind - I'm a lot happier now that it is taking shape and I can at last have a bath.

My hairdrier is fitted in a drawer too - That makes me very happy

No - it's a free standing roll top bath - there's a sort of little ledge on the side with two holes in it - -difficult to explain but it's perfectly functional.

as the bath is free standing what's to stop you going ahead with the original one and in six weeks get the plumber to swop them over - their fault it is wrong and becomes second hand as you will have used it - customer satisfaction should always come first IMO  and it is their mistake

That has crossed my mind Mrs H .............I might get Mr Woo (or my daughter) to ring them up and suggest it - I've ranted and raved at them enough - it needs someone strong and assertive - it's a possibility.

I would definitely do that Soozy.  I know you want it over with quickly, but I promise you, they will irritate you eventually.

Cinds

When we had our bathroom done (about 6 yrs ago) we ordered a very square shaped bath, loo and washbasin (it was right trendy then - we were trailblazers!!)

We booked the plumber, he arrived at the allotted time, unpacked the bath etc, and they had sent a really old fashioned suite, not our super-duper square one at all.

We phoned, they said sorry, they would deliver the one that we ordered in two week's time, the plumber couldn't fit us in then, so we said sod it, just put in what they had delivered.

I have hated it every day since ...
