Definitely the 27th - it's two Thursdays on the trot that I shall be sh***ing myself.
Good luck to everyone who is waiting on exam results and big hugs to anxious parents.

Just remember it's not the end of the world if the results are not as good as hoped.
There are always retakes and clearing - but fingers crossed that no one needs them
Absolutely veggie, for the youngsters it can seem like all or nothing but it really isn't.
Thanks people
I dreamt yesterday I got an A, an E and a Z

We are of the view that the worst that can happen is she retakes the year...and I get the pleasure of her company for an extra year.!!!It would also be an opportunity for her to work and get some cash under her belt,so all's not lost.
Plus we know so many people for whom failure's been a blessing indisguise as they had to really think about whats important to them..and if uni life/that particular course was the right move.
Anyhow...hope everyone gets what they need over the next week

I truly believe this mazzy that 'you are where you need to be at the time'. It often doesn't seem like it when things don't go according to plan but when you look back on it you realise that without that change of direction you wouldn't have achieved this or that or met that person etc.
Thats a lovely post skive
I have nothing but praise for my daughters teachers who have went above the call of duty to help all their A Level students.
You sound just like them.
Good luck to all everyone.

My neighbours daughter was gutted she didnt get on to a midwifery course she wanted..but she enrolled on a general nursing degree and found her niche in nursing terminally ill patients(bless her for it).Shes now a MacMillan nurse and cant imagine a better job for her.
MacMillan nurses are truly saints in human form mazzy. I lost a good friend and colleague last October and his last few weeks in the hospice were as good as they could have been thanks to them. They let him have a beer one day because he knew he was going soon and wanted 'one for the road'.
