I think most of  us have old Black and white/ Sepia photos of our parents Grandparents......dressed for the photo...........

I have pictures of me as a small baby and child and looking at them my grandkids (and kids) think I must be ancient now............

I have a photo of my dad's family.......all eleven of them my dad is a baby in arms, must have been 1908 or 1909.....because he was the little surprise for his parents

 A nice surprise 

Not judging by the look on my granny's face in the picture 😂

For some just being happy for being alive was enough........ for some they just kept it inside and their dreams were a constant reminder..............

No, my dad just dropped snippets every now and then .....but even up to when he died he still had nightmares sometimes

The family next door to my mother were Sally Ann....I got to bash their daughters tambourine when I played there

 I read that as “I got to bash their daughters”
