She's having some tastefull boduoir photos taken soon but is worried they may ask her to go topless which she doesn't, and I also told her to get the company checked out that they also won't rip her off on deposits and things and that they really exist. You hear about these things happening all the time, where can she check on the net that they are OK? She was emailed by them on some website which trust's but what's real nowadays.

There is an Association of Model Agents which I found via Google.
If they ask her to pay fees upfront, they're dodgy.
Also found this:
Charging upfront fees
Agencies are NOT permitted to charge upfront fees for finding work. This is one of the biggest scams in the industry. Many âagentsâ will tell you that you need to pay a registration fee, a fee for inclusion in publications and many more reasons, however an if an agent wishes to charge for finding you work hey will need to take the fee in a form of commission which is deducted from your earnings (usually around 20%). They are only able to charge you a commission if it is placed in your contract and you agree with the contract terms.
It has been illegal for employment agencies to charge up front fees for many years, however, due to pressure from groups from 1st October 2010 it has been illegal for employment agencies in the model and acting industries to charge upfront fees.

Cheers, great help, she only 24 which is still young and I dn't want to se her get ripped off, me and her are great freinds at work.
Poolie, my friend does those kind of " boudoir" style sessions as part of her very successful photography business- there should be no way in the world the girl you work with should be asked to do anything she's not comfortable with,if it's her that's paying for the session, she's the customer and calls the shots!
I don't have her mobile number but I'm freinds with her on FB, I just copied and pasted that stuff about charges and sent it as a message to her, hopefully she will pick it up.
I think the charges thing only applies for modelling portfolios Poolie, if I'm reading it right, it's more of a personal shoot than for anything professional ?
