... For me, I mean... (back me up Stonks, as soon as you see this)...

Soooo.... I still like Vinnie. Yes, I know it's mad.
He is still doing the same things he did at the beginning now. Sharp, cutting comments... humour, as he sees it. It is all in the edit, as desperate supporters of a lost cause always say here. The edit has turned that into controlling and cruel. But despite that, I can see his behaviour in terms of dysfunctional rather than bullying, as seems to be the opinion. He clearly has OCD reactions to the situation he is in, as I see it. I remember Darnell in BB 2008 evoked the same reactions. Where Darnell turned in on himself, Vinnie turns on others. Maybe that is what defines a bully... but I'm still looking for something else.

There! I said it! *runs out of forum*

I think he is a very unpleasant, nay odious man.
But I am prepared to be open to the idea that he believes many of his comments and hurtful remarks are funny.

I think the constant  use   of this sort of "humour" (if that's what it is) is very, very wearing. It might have a comedic slant once, but used   constantly and repetetively and consistently this sort of humour is biting and hurtful to many.
If that is the only kind of "humour" a person is capable of, it is a sad state of affairs. in my opinion.
He doesn't let up from it.
This, to my mind, makes him pretty detestable, - not least because he seems incapable of softening the blow. He stings, and leaves the sting untended.
Not nice in my view; indeed rather nasty.

There Xochi.  It wasn't necessary for you to run out of the forum. None of us would want that to happen. **warm friendly smile for Xochiquetzal**

Quite understand what you say brisket... but all I'm saying, is that maybe Vinnie isn't using it as humour as you or I understand it, but it's like a reflex response to a threat... it is not what you might hope for someone in a normal situation, but for someone with problems dealing with people, may be really difficult to organise into one that is 'normal'?

On the other hand maybe the guy is just a thick footballer who wasn't good enough to make millions at the game and just got lucky playing a small time thug in small time brit flicks.
That, of course, is a possibility!  And of course, the consensus here! My problem is that I always look for the good in people... and having been judged myself so much, give people the benefit of doubt! Shoot me!

Ahh! Thanks for the additional clarification Xochi. (I am now somewhat ashamed that I didn't read your opening post with the care it deserved.)
I am not sure about the editing; it can easily distort or deliberately mislead, but in this instance we can only surmise.
But I grasp the overall points in your post.
Thoughtful, as ever. Thanks

Xochi, we all feel differently about all the HM's, doesn't make any of us right or wrong IMO, just personal opinions. I too try to find the good in anyone, I admit Vinnie's been a huge challenge for me as I don't like that type of personality that puts people down, had too much of that in the past, but seperate to CBB I know he'll love his wife and family. If you like him don't apologise, I keep trying to not apologise for HM's I like that some others don't, like Steph lol.
