You will be smoke free. You'll just be sucking on something that looks like a tampon applicator. Valentine

Stick at it madamski, believe me the craving will go and a day will come when you will never crave a ciggie again and you won't have all that gunge clogging up your lungs and giving you lots of health problems in years to come.
I was on 20 a day and gave up years ago. Its not easy but does get easier day by day that you are free.

The craving definitely will go and you won't even think about wanting a cig.

I have one of those and it does nothing for me. Frowner I have been told that it's imperative that I give up smoking but I'm finding it impossible even to cut down.

I have to give up also but am finding it so difficult, I have stuck to 5 a day for almost 2 yrs but can only sometimes can get lower and I still think about them all the time Frowner

Can I say cutting down is not the way to quit because you will still be thinking of your smokes. The only way to quit is to STOP taking them. Simpler, more difficult but the best way in the long run.

Hi Madamski, I smoked loads for many years & thought I would never give up but I've been ciggy free for ten weeks now & have found it unbelievably easy having listened to Alan Carr's audio course.

Here's a link to his web site....

I'm not going to preach but do urge you to google him as well.

Good luck Thumbs Up

I know Frowner I am trying to unlearn smoking , I no longer have nicotine replacements at all, I do belong to a group of "quitsters" the thing I am finding hard is I can't change my routine as am housebound most of the time and can't just go for a walk when the cravings hit, I only have one little spot where I allow myself to have a few puffs when it all gets to much, have problems with anxiety also which doesn't help but I will get there, the motto of the group I belong to is you only fail when you stop trying Wink
