I wouldn't attempt to fix the pence as it slots into grooves on two concrete posts either side so requires two people to lift it right up and then slot it in. One of my clients does that sort of work and I'll ring him tomorrow.

'The Day the Earth Stood Still' was remade with Keanu Reeves as lead...as much as I like him as an actor, I didn't think much of the remake.

I bought the Keanu Reeves remake on DVD from the church fete years ago. Have not bothered to ever watch it though

I've left a message on that client's phone this morning about that fence panel. Wouldn't surprise me if other customers of his are contacting him thanks to Storm Bert. Much of Scotland has a wind warning this morning due to that storm but the warning expires soon.

That client has rung back. He'll have a look at the fence panel in the next few days and will measure up a replacement. He said he's had 15 other people already contact him about fencing. I suspect the actual replacement panel will take longer as the fencing company he uses to make them will now be very busy.
He is very reliable

I'm sure he is El....as you say, his suppliers are probably busier than usual after the last few days.

They will be, Slim My client gets the fencing from a local company rather than a national one though all would be as busy. Any delay would be because the local company may have to restock with wood to make the fencing.
