By cutting tapered strips of junk mail leaflets, wrapping them around a cocktail stick, glazing with a clear glue, once dry slide off the stick and thread a thin elastic through the hole, adding beads or other decorative detail, salvaged from broken pieces of jewellery acquired ....Real easy to do...
I used to make them, then sell them for Β£2.00 in the pop up charity shop.......all proceeds from the shop went towards giving the local dementia group days out & to the foodbank next door to where we were.
Well, it's very cool, and I would wear that!

He was on our balcony....I know they run out of puff and need to rest...a little sugar rush helped him on his way
Bet your birds were a bit put out by the invasion
I have a massive Lilac tree in Bulgaria which is home to a swarm....is lovely to sit on the back step and listen to the hum...watch them busying themselves around the garden

Awwww Yes , birds were put out ....we usually had blue tits in there ......but my lovely forum FMs brought me three more bird boxes for my birthday last year , so Iβm hoping I now have enough for everyone ! Iβve just been out in the garden doing some pruning ....aka chopping plants about ...and I saw a bumble bee and a butterfly ....so summer is coming .

Yayy I like the sound of that ....the hotter the better!
We have a very mature Hawthorn in our front garden which houses fat balls etc & the odd bird rest, for the small birds....also have a couple of palm trees....when the leaves drop but don't fall off...the smaller birds like to use them to have a good scratch

Awwww ....I bet itβs nice sitting on the bench during the sunny weather .
What's that lovely flowering tree, slim?

It's a Hawthorn Lori...ideal for the smaller birds, as the thorns make it difficult for the larger birds & stops cats from climbing in it
Ah, I see. It really is lovely!
