Robby the Robot was the robot in the 1956 film "Forbidden Planet". The robot from the "Lost in Space" TV series didn't have a name, the boy in that was Will Robinson, the name mentioned in the enhancing bionics message we get here. Robby the Robot did appear uncredited in one episode "War of the Robots". He has appeared, most recenlty in an episode of "The Big Bang Theory".  He was born on 1st July 1955 and can speak 188 languages.
