You have got to admit, itβs better that all that rain we had a few months ago though
We've also had beautiful weather...which has just changed, today.

Is she ok?

She has an infected toe and sometimes it causes a lot of pain - to the extent that she can't concentrate on anything else. But otherwise she's ok.

Well, THAT sounds painful. Glad she is otherwise OK, though.

That's a nice way to do it.
I do the shopping for an at-risk family, and I wind up having lots of text conversations when a substitute product might be required. Takes a lot of time to shop that way.

I write a list but it is general just cheese, ham etc and then as she shops I can be more specific, I can do the substitution and I pay by transferring money to her account. Both daughters are being brilliant during this lockdown

My eldest daughter is manager of a local coop, she was coughed at by a shoplifter just before the lockdown , the staff donated βlunchesβ to staff at the local hospital (this was the staff not the coop who are good to the local community)

Thatβs disgusting. If they catch that shoplifter they should sew their mouth up
Well done to the staff for their generosity of that donation of lunches which Iβm sure would have been most welcome
Today I didn't feel like doing anything much. I wanted to sit outside for a while, but it wasn't warm enough!
i'm dreadful with shopping lists...I seem to do a retail version of going off on a tangent and arrive home with half the list missing.
Did a shop heading home from work this evening - bought a ready meal as a lazy quickie for the weekend -only to find it's film lid smashed when placing it in the fridge.

Our last light bulb went pop
Our gas fire has stopped working
Our cooker knob has snapped off
And my Mum's adapted bed has broken so we can't adjust it
