I wouldn’t be happy resting it for two hours ....a) I’d be worried about germs ....and b) surely it would be cold

I would only rest for 30-45 mins......after two hours it would be too cold....My mother used to cover hers in tinfoil and stick it on the hearth  to the side of an open fire 😂

Yes , I think I could manage 30 minutes

It depends on the size of the bird of course

Carrots are orange imo

 I agree.

I can cope with different coloured tomatoes but that’s about it

Carrots are carrots, they all taste the same😂

But they have to be orange

I think I’m going to get a small turkey fillet to have on Xmas day .....my nod to Xmas dinner

Get a small turkey breast joint....enough for dinner, Boxing Day cold with oven cooked chips and your silver skin onion or two....and if there's any left after that....stick it in a sandwich. Don't let Sammy have any, too rich and it makes cats sick😂

Yes , that’s my thinking KAytee .....I always loved cold turkey and pickles on Boxing Day

It was a tradition with my parents....I carried it on and Mr KT insists on it😂

Yes , in fact I always preferred Boxing Day food more than Xmas day

Me too, not so much rattling of the pots and pans and angst or 'formality'.....

Just get stuck in, only effort is to raid the fridge for any bits that the chef is keeping for themselves............
