We all know the EU aren't backing down. Off Beachy Head we go. WTO solo.
What the feck is up with the Tory party. Bun fights are all well and good but feck me. I've had enough.

I'm pretty sure we all have Baz, all their faffing about wore us down ages ago. And as you say, it's fairly irrelevant now which side of the fence we were on initially.
One thing I read was saying that leavers voted for a 'no-deal'. I say 'really? I don't think so.' I think that once it was announced that LEAVE had won, then everyone on both sides rather expected an open, cross-party adult discussion on the way forward. Not a closed doors unilateral decision that (surprise surprise) was not 100% liked in all quarters.
Well said Fluffs.
How could they have voted for a no deal....it wasn't even on the ballot paper so they knew nowt about it
I've watched a lot of political programming tonight and I'm sick and tired of politicians using the phrase, or variatant "the people want". Clearly, not everyone wants the same thing.
No deal Brexit is disaster capitalism, so if you're not a hedge fund manager hoping to make a killing on short selling UK shares or a parasite capitalist hoping to capitalise on failed firms or the consequence of failed firms, then you're a useful idiot for those people.
So if you back the right wing coup, you are a traitor to this country and a useful idiot class traitor - assuming you are working class. If you are part of the elite parasite classes like Bozo, IDS and Rees Mogg, making money from Britain's misfortune then you're a nasty piece of shit, but at least you're not a gullible moron!
I agree with that.

What the 'British people voted for' has conveniently changed from "Brexit with a good deal in our favour assured because the EU needs us more than we need it" to "No deal is and was the patriotic choice of 17.2 million voters".
I find the Stalinist cynical re-write of recent history from the Brexit liars repulsive.

I think the idea there was that 'WE' had voted to leave by a certain time and that as no condition was given as to the form of leaving that meant we just wanted to go - no matter the circumstance.

And that's part of the problem....everyone was sold a pup!
Yup, cloak and dagger stuff right from the start!
