Oh yeah

Just think what delights you have in your box, straining at the leash to make your Sunday evenings more enjoyable.

Mine have arrived... eventually.

Thursday I get home to find a card, outside on the floor, saying that TNT have tried to deliver, but no one was home. No problem, I thought that I would use the Internet to arrange a re-delivery. Nope, for some reason it would only let me get the parcel delivered to another address!

So I called TNT and explained that I need delivery Friday as I was off work and then I will be away for two weeks. She opened a 'ticket' and made the enquiry requesting a Friday delivery and said I would get a call Friday.

Friday morning I was in bed watching Formula One free practice and I received a call as expected. The lady tells me that my parcels were already scheduled for a Friday delivery - SWEET !!!.

So I have my bath and attempt to get ready for the delivery. Now, I live on a cul-de-sac and the utility company has decided to dig up the road and lay new cabled or something, blocking off any route to my road.

So, I'm in my bathroom finishing getting ready when I notice through the window a TNT van coming down the road... PANIC. You have never seen anyone pull on a pair of trousers, shirt and pair of shoes in your life. I run out of the house and round the corner only to be met by a gaggle of workmen and a TNT delivery driver making his way through them.

I was, shout and say "my parcels" !! I electronically sign for them, exchange a few words with the driver and make my way home, satisfied.

Below is a picture of my parcels.

OK. Strange thing has happened!

Gets home from work yesterday and on the floor is a card. A card from TNT which says "sorry we missed you..." and on the back is a box listing three consignment numbers and another box indicating three parcels.

Now, that is exactly the same number of parcels I received from TNT last week.

I wonder if they have shipped out the same order twice?

I will find out tomorrow when the parcels are delivered to work.

I checked my statement today and nothing new on it (I don't use it much these days).

I will just send them back if it is the same order.

Enthusiastic Contrafibularities
Took delivery of one parcel today, it dawned on me that because it was such a large order, they may have shipped it over 5 smaller parcels and one larger box.

Not opened any yet so it may be worth my while doing so on Saturday to ensure everything shipped.!
