Not much to add to that! 
1) looks like a rusty car part - a wheel hub?
2) I wonder if this is something more specific: bird's nest?
8) looks spherical, like a ball bearing - but it has a suspicious indent in the centre... 
17) I was going to stick my neck out and say a Nice biscuit, but I don't have any around to check!
22) I wonder if Baz is right about a pork scratching - or bacon? 
And what did happen to 16 and 20?

Saint and I both saw "wheel hub", but I think that was asking too much. Some of the answers seem ridiculously specific; I mean, "Ottoman basket"?
Looking back, I can see "door knob" now, but I'm staring and staring at #13 and I'm really not seeing a 20p piece - and isn't the cloth more prominent in that picture anyway?
