What is the problem Velvet.
I'm away from the computer for a short while but will check back on your thread.
Just a guess - try pressing the Ctrl, the Alt and one of the arrow keys at the same time. May have to try the various arrow keys to see if any of them sort it out. Those are the keyboard shortcuts for rotating the display. However there's no guarantee that this will have any effect - it doesn't on mine.

You disappoint me ... I was sure you would advise cocking of the head and hth!!!
although shouldnât the screen be horizontal in the first place?

If this is the problem Velvet, I have just tried it on mine in Windows 7. Hold CTRL and ALT keys pressing one of the arrow keys flips the screen. I found holding the CTRL and ALT keys together then pressing the up arrow key, corrected my screen.

I'm out of practice at the moment - low mood I guess
I remember this technique to annoy my friend and he has no clue what went wrong
I also used this trick on Mr. Lori for April Fool's this year...
