I have (or will do tomorrow) done something that I have avoided for years and years and years. I have been forced into buying Sky Sports so I can see this years F1 season.

I have always hated Sky for a number of reasons, but I just can't be doing with trying to avoid all news outlets, especially online which will no doubt stuff the result in my face when I least expect it - it's happened in the past - just so I can see the highlights on Channel 4. Highlights!, not even the full race. Pfffft !

I'm now going to the bathroom to crouch in the corner of my shower, fully clothed, sobbing as the water cleans the Sky dirt off me.

Someone tell me I am not the baddest of people.

It's £5 per week and you get the other sports channels too.

Seems a lot, but it's a big saving on their usual costs.

Well with Virgin I was paying £48 a month for tinternet and phone only. I'd had enough and I'd been with them since Telewest days. I went to Sky for TV tinternet and phone for £33 (although that's just gone up by a fiver, but I refuse to give them anything else.....untill I can get in to work again (and even then that's debatable)

That's what I mean....£40 per month....no way

F1 sold itself out years ago.

It's still ok as entertainment, but it's down to those who have hi jacked it, along with all the other sports, but then again the bosses at the other TV companies have no regard for the 'normal working man' it's all about the money, money, money
