Re the possibility that ITV might buy Endemol Shine, such is the world of business that it doesn't follow that ITV itself would show Big Brother though it might.
For instance ITV owns a production company called World Productions. That's been in the news recently regarding one of the programmes made by World Productions and that's Bodyguard. And that's being shown on BBC1. The news was that the rights to show Bodyguard outside the UK have been sold to Netflix.
All we need is back to basics - see what has worked well in other countries and âĶ eccentric people!!
Tomaz is working wonders for BB this year - Jonty was the same.
And add the common sense and niceness of ANNA (BB1) just like Kay from this year as an antidote
And then STOP MESSING with the format and stop including anyone called Cameron

Just cos Endemol is sold (and it looks like a bidding war) doesn't mean BB will survive âĶ but it is better than nothing
BB on ITV would be amazing!!!
It would only be amazing if they took the show back to it's roots, alas ITV are firmly in the Love Island mode of programming somerhing which C5 tried to do with BB and look how bad BB got - C5 eventuly ditching it. It would be filled with manufactured fauxmances and wannabe celebrities who have already been on the round of reality shows.
As much of a chink of light the ITV bid may be - I firmly believe ITV will try and polish a turd, topping it with glitter !
Some interesting comments about BB's future from those in the know . . .
Rylan Clark-NealâVerified account @Rylan
You literally shaped my career and my personal life and Iâll forever be grateful. From day 1 I was a fan, became a housemate, winner, and host and Iâll never find anything like you again. @bbuk . The life Iâve got now is all because of you. Big Brother, Iâll get back to you
What does he mean? "I'll get back to you"
And Emma's comment - scroll down.
"This is the last ever 'What you talking about Willis?' - I think"
Marcus BentleyâVerified account @marcusBBbentley
BREAKING NEWS: Big Brother will conclude on Monday, 5th November at 10-11.15pm in an episode titled âGoodbye Channel 5 : Live Finalâ
.. not goodbye Big Brother!!
Endemol Shine UKâVerified account @endemolshineuk Oct 11
Mark Sammon appointed Director of Development and Entertainment | Endemol Shine UK
. . . he also worked for ITV for nearly 5 yrs - hmmmmm
Rylan just said on BBBOTS he, Emma and Marcus would do everything they could to bring BB back

Netflix ain't Sky though. Do you mean Netflix are out?
Netflix are a tenner extra on Sky Q. (Which is pretty good - Sky Q, that is)
Netflix are interested (apparently) and are streamed separate from Sky too = ÂĢ7.99p/m
I don't have a smart telly Sainty so no option.
Hi Roxan. All go your way tonight
Hope still on schedule
Do you need a smart telly for Netflix??
Thought it was just internet connection

Emma said on This Morning (thurs),
"âIâve kind of asked and theyâve gone âweâre talking to people.ââ she told Thursdayâs edition of This Morning. âPeople are very noncommittal at the moment because I think they donât know, but theyâre obviously having talks.
No idea 'who' she's been asking . . .

Looks like Endemol's sale is off and the future of BBUK is in doubt
