If you read the link Renton , she’s saying her Twitter account has been hacked ....and she’s not dead 

Seems it was some sort of nasty hoax.

So she sees transgender as a struggle against a tide of opposition.

Really? I don't see a tide of opposition, rather a trend towards acceptance

This has been muttered in other tweets 

But considering how angry she is .... but you never know

I don’t know much about her, but a couple of things cross my mind.

1: if someone was going to hack an account, wouldn’t they pick someone someone a bit more in the public eye to do a death tweet about for more of a shock factor? 

2: She’s transgender. Transgender is a popular subject at the moment with India being on BB and the programme on ITV etc... now would be the time to get a bit of publicity to remind people that you still exist.

Of course I’m speculating, maybe she did get hacked. But put it this way, I would not be surprised one bit to see her making TV appearances on things such as BBBOTS in the coming weeks.

You could refer to Rebekah as "she" and not "he", y'know.

It's a typical slip up as I don't really know her as a woman but did know her as a guy (in the past) so more care must be taken

In these days of "fake news" it's understandable for people to be sceptical. However; at the risk of reading too much into it, I got the impression from a later tweet that it wasn't a random attack, and she knew - or at least suspected - who was responsible.
