I've been watching this wonderful video on that there You Tube thing
Certainly makes you think.
I was wondering ...
What have been your life lessons?
What have you learned - the most important thing life has taught you?
Do you have any regrets?
What advice would you give to a child - or a teenager?
One thing I think I have learned is to be flexible.
Or as flexible as you can.
Life sometimes doesn't go the way you hoped it would go - so what are you going to do?
Life tends to blind side you with things you were never expecting. You have to learn to cope/adapt I guess.
So it's taught me to be flexible - life's a bit a mystery. It can't always be controlled
I think the Serenity Prayer sums it up for me:
"God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change
The courage to change the things I can
And the wisdom to know the difference."
Treasure the people you love while you have them.
And don't sweat the small stuff!
My nana also gave me this piece of advice:
Don't worry if people are talking about you - it means they are leaving someone else alone.
Let go of anger.
Whatever makes you unhappy - if you can - walk away from it
My life quote:
Put a smile on your face,
Leave the haters behind,
And live a positive, upbeat life,
It will repay you a million times.

I agree , although as someone who suffers with chronic anxiety , it's easier to say than to do
The advice I would give to a child /teenager is live life to the full , try not to hurt others and always try to remember today is the tomorrow you were worrying about yesterday

I said it was the best advice, I didn't say I'm always able to follow it.

A phrase that can be either comforting - or a warning to make the most of something depending on the situation.
"This too will pass"
From a work point of view and I think it relates to life in general "Don't say 'I don't know' say 'I'll find out' "
Regrets, I've had a few, but then again ...
Like Kaffs said,
I would say things always seem worse when you're going through them.
Bad times are rarely permanent - they are temporary - and (more often than not) you will survive
There's no regrets
No tears goodbye
I don't want you back
We'd only cry again
Say goodbye again
Also plagiarism - it's a bad thing
Avoid
"Life moves pretty fast. If you donât stop and look around once in awhile, you could miss it".
