I saw part of the first one a few weeks ago, and thought, nah this isn't for me. I've since seen parts of other ones (I keep forgetting what time it's on) and it's kinda grown on me. Anyone watch it?

No, it's like a talent show. Different groups/bands singing off against each other
I don't tend to go for that kind of talent show, but it's actually not too bad

I saw the adverts for this, and although I've always had a bit of a soft spot for a cappella, I'm not a big fan of TV talent shows, so I haven't bothered.
I have to say though that the show's "food chain" is unusually weird even by TV standards: it's a singing competition inspired by a film ("Pitch Perfect"), which was adapted from a non-fiction book ("Pitch Perfect: The Quest for Collegiate a Cappella Glory") about a real life singing competition (the International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella)!
Interestingly, it was a British group from Imperial College London who won the original Collegiate completion last year...
