I'm just watching the programme and they ran a quickie on Cinnamon Swirls as sold by Starbucks.
Apparently in store the calorie count is very different from the on-line calorie count, quite dramatically different, a lot lower in-store.
Now a customer pointed this out to Starbuck who said they would change the in-store labelling. Now this was a year ago and still no change (I wonder if they are trying to sell more swirls??). Watchdog contacted Starbucks who apologised and said they would rectify the labelling.
Now, you hear this a lot on TV, companies apologising for something or other. What I would like to see is someone turn round to them and say, "I don't accept your apology, now what are you going to do"?
I bet they don't have a response to that!
The real question: Who on here eats cinnamon swirls on a regular basis from Starbucks and have you seen a weight gain?
If you get a home food delivery from ASDA, check the plastic trays they use, apparently some are really, really, really, dirty!
