Apologies as this should go into the TV Thread, but it's just on BBC Two and I wanted to alert those who may be interested.
I watched part one of three and love it, especially Grand Central Station history and renovation.

Cheers Sprout.
That look like something I will watch on my widescreen telly.

I noticed. I'm a bit of a fan of New York and have a number of books on the subject.

Nice. I plan to go for a long stint at some point in the near future. They are talking food now.

I turned over. 60% of food consumed in the city is from Takeaway places.

Yes, that way of delivering looks very simple but clever. It seems to be like Uber for pizza delivery. I don't know if you saw it but the delivery person uses their mobile to accept jobs from any fast food restaurant. GPS tells the outlets where each driver is and they can accept or decline the delivery job.

I'm still watching.
That's some amount of rubbish!
Did he say the same amount as is generated in Scotland ?
Excellent engineering, but as the waste decomposes, will the land not sink?

I missed that, as hubby spoke to me.

I'm sure he likened New Yorks waste to the whole of Scotland, I just missed the timeframe - I suspect it to be quite short.
50,000 bees in one hive!
Did you see the size of those radishes?
I am going to have to re-watch part one of this as I missed some.

MASSIVE!
Driving and parking sounds like a nightmare
Everything really is BIG in New York.
Even the amount of apples they sell each day in one store.
Thanks for the company Yogi.
Enjoyed that programme.
Part 3 to come...
