took little girl to vets 4 days ago, got pain killers for her leg-its a sprain vet said, ive carried the little girl upto bed everynight cos she cant do the stairs

 

ive been out for 40mins to pub for a quick one, left them on their own

 

shes yelping when i come back, her tail is all crooked, like shes broke it

i mean FFS

Lord knows what shes done

she limping & yelping

i swear if dogs had social services id be in the nick

 Is there an out of hours vets you could take her to and get her checked out, Pirate?

yeah im a bit daft about my greyhounds,mystified how the youngest gets injured!

and i tell ya carrying her up the stairs, shes tiny but heavy

the vet thought she was a whippet

no she didnt think of herself as a whippet

i mean my youngest-she's really small,

she's on the small sofa,watching scooby doo, wrapped up & ive ordered them burger & chips

im waiting on being paid

owed a bit

i never keep money in the house after we got robbed a few yrs back

so i'm waiting for the cash

and  never put money in the bank-as i dont trust the banks-its safer under the mattress

 That reminds me of a friend of my eldest son's. He's an accountant and son asked him where the safest place was to keep his money, and he replied "under your mattress!".

also, we didnt realise little girl hadnt been chipped, cos retired greyhounds usually are

vet said we can get her chipped tomorrow, or we might not need to bother...

i went a bit ballistic at her for saying that

sometimes vets/docs treat animals/people like they are on a conveyer belt

one out next one in

they dont bloody realise that you might be in a complete state of panic
