Loved Liver Birds but never liked Bread - it gave the message that it was ok to be unemployed and people shouldn't be concerned for their welfare cos the working class will always scam a way to get by.

It wasn't for me - caricatures and mildly offensive ones at that.

Surely it was an exaggeration dependant comedy.

It was too close to the themes of the time to be removed enough not to matter . . . for me
