I'm going to console myself with the fact that my medium term plan (next 3 years) is to drop my working week down to 3 days (Tue-Thur) and balance the loss of days by working slightly more hours each day.

Hello Baz - not wanting to take over the thread, briefly

My Mum is making good progress but needs to have a follow up operation to remove some internal clips.

My Dad is undergoing radiotherapy and is doing well so may not need his chemo - later he will have an operation.

So all in all its ok and we're coping - how's you?

I actually thought my Dad was having chemo at the same time as radiotherapy - until he suddenly announced he wasn;t
