It's beautiful!
Did I ever tell you I lived in Dunoon for 2 years when I was little?

Yes Lori, I believe you did. Though I can't remember if you said just how little or when exactly this was, or whereabouts in Dunoon you lived.

That's what we called it
Ohh, I thought you might have been coming down south to see your sister. As soon as I saw the snow I knew you hadn't!
It looks lovely Fluffs ... hope you had a grand ole time
I take it they had the Haggis out tracking you down? They don't like their pipers escaping going AWOL.

Yes, nice and peaceful.
I'll be going south on my next Annual leave, which is at the end of May. Already counting down the days!
I love your house and view

1967-68ish, for 2 years. I don't know if they still name houses, there, but it was called "Kirkhill", we think, and it was on Kirk Street.
Yes thanks Baz, it was very pleasant.
Lori 67/68 was when I was in hospital, so very little chance of us, unknowingly, bumping into each other.
I was looking on Google Street view, but most of Kirk Street is not covered. My Aunt lived in John Street, so I took a 'wander' down there. Just as I was thinking to myself that I was very unlikely to recognise it....I saw it!
You were in hospital?? Yikes!
My sister and I and our husbands visited Dunoon as part of a larger trip in 2006, and we found the house, AND the school we attended while there. That was pretty cool.
