I noticed this morning as I walked to work at 6:00ish that the Sheffield Town Hall was still flying the Welsh flag for St. David's day.
Do any of your town hall's do the same thing?
We also fly the Scottish flag on St. Andrews day too.

Yes, I think it's nice too for those nationalities living in Sheffield and the surrounding area.
I always wondered if other councils did something similar.
In fact they also put on a show for St Patrick's day too.

I don't know whether ours does...it's a good while since I've seen it, and having said that I used to work a building not far from it and passed it every night 
And then again....this Work Programme that I'm on now 
is in the same building where I worked, just on the floor below us. Ironic or what! but I forgot to look up at the town hall and see if the Welsh flag was flying

The Welsh flag's always flying here In fact its one of the first things I see out of the window every morning [ I live opposite a hotel ] 
They flew the tricolour for a while after the Paris attacks though.

They do have their daft moments like any other council Yogi.
