George Osborne warns of further spending cuts in Budget

The Chancellor has warned he may have to make extra cuts to public spending in next month's Budget.

Speaking to the BBC during a visit to China, George Osborne said, he "may need to undertake further reductions in spending".

He said he would rather bring in more austerity than forfeit his plan to achieve a surplus in the budget by the end of this Parliament.

Whatever happens to the country, it's never the fault of the Tories.  That party is pathologically adverse to putting its hands up and admitting its failings.

Even in the 90s after years of office that party was still blaming the 1960s and early 70s for all society's ills.  No matter how long they're in power, it's NEVER their fault!  If the Tories win in 2020, come 2025 everything wrong with the country will still be spun as Labour's fault.

The last global downturn, was all Gordon Brown's fault, yet this downturn will be the fault of everyone bar George Osborne and the Tory Party.

They only get away with it because most of the political commentariat prostitute themselves to the agenda of tax avoiding press barons.
