My milk doesn't last long enough to get past its use by date

I must say that I do find Sainsbury's Organic milk seems to last a lot longer than any other milk I have tried.

Never use the organic stuff tbh EC. It's seems so bland to me

Ironically organic food should taste better than any other. I avoid normal milk because you are exposed to all of the drugs the cows are given.

I find organic carrots and beetroot also taste better.

Certainly chicken, which I try to buy free range organic tastes a whole lot better than the cheap rubbish most supermarkets sell.

However, everything tastes bland to my mum who has lost her sense of taste.

I agree about organic chicken EC, it tastes much better, though I only buy it now and again for a treat.

So sorry about your Mum. That must be awful for her

I have just taken a 2 pint bottle of Sainsbury's Organic Semi Skimmed milk out of the fridge, stuck my nose in it and I can't smell anything, nothing at all, not a hint of the milk going off!

The use by date you ask, 9th Feb.

Beat that!!

Oh yuk, yuk and thrice yuk * reminds self never to accept a cuppa at EC's ( or Sprouts)

I'm with you, Baz.  If it's out of date, it's in the bin!
