and she's staying in the house.

That's respectful.

Not that she should feel she has to leave, but if you're making a living out of being someone's ex....    Just leaves a bad taste.

Yes, whatever the state of their relationship you would have thought that being on a TV show pales into insignificance compared to the death of her ex-husband.

I suspect many will turn against her for that.

I suppose it does show a lack of respect...but on the other hand they hated each other and hadn't spoken for donkeys. Perhaps if she'd gone she would have been accused of hypocricy....so either way she couldn't win tbf

I guess she could have left saying that although they were not best of friends they once were and that she wanted to show respect for her ex-husband.

I know that.. but if you had a son with someone and they died - would you not think that maybe dressing up like an idiot and playing silly games on a reality show shows a slight lack of respect for your child?   Or do they hate each other too?  I'm not sure what their relationship is.

Oh - and I ditched my ex's name when we split up , not like there's any children to keep it for .... and since her son calls himself 'Jones', you have to wonder...

She said she doesn't have a relationship with her son because he doesn't want to see her. I don't think they've had any contact for decades.

Or just that she was going for their son and the state of her 'relationship' with David Bowie doesn't come into it!

Ah.. ok - in that case, it's up to her then.     She should have ditched him name though if she hates him that much.

From what she said to David Guest, her son won't want to see her.
