I've only ever been to the dogs twice ... and both of them were works parties. Cracking fun both times. 10p a race (except when I splashed out 50p on Lou MAcaries (sp) dog. 

I lost a whole pound that night!

 I have enjoyed most parties from work, if only to watch people relaxed and themselves....(and the gossip afterwards of course

At most parties I have been to, the 'cream' usually stick together (with the 'Semi Fat')...and the skimmed usually have a whale of a time.

Ours was last Friday - It was a great day.   Out for lunch then into town for a cocktail or three.   Good fun, but we're a small company (so small we invite a few people we've known for years who have local businesses that do work for us)  Young boss, no nobs, and I don't work in a dairy.

Mrs Jer the famous sole trader has decided that there is a budget for an office do.

I've seen some Facebook pictures and messages of the night before - I feel my decision has been vindicated.

They call it Black Eye Frider round here!
