Well, they only cracked the human genome a few years ago - and we've been here for thousands of years. So 60 years is as nothing!

I think they are speech automatic, as in no one is typing them etc.I often have subtitles up for various shows and there are some real howlers that come up at times.

Apparently they are done in Australia.

 

The reason I say that is because I was watching the business programme at half five in the morning and the presenters were discussing Australia's defeat in the Rugby World Cup. One of the presents said how good their opponents were and then said I am going to get an Australian to type "the all blacks were much better than Australia". Forgive me if I got the opponent's wrong as I have no idea who Australia danced with.
